GOAT Allen.

As a Pats fan, I was cursing at my TV to really pay attention to the details or listen to Romo, but that throw was 64 yards in the air from a standstill. I wonder how far he can throw stepping into it. Didn't Mahomey throw 80 yards in practice? Wonder if Josh can match? I'd like to see a throw off between them.

Is he a bad coach? I don’t follow the Texans. One year is a rough. Although I wish the giants canned judge after one year.

It's complicated. One one hand he's probably one good team away from HOF consideration. Didn't deserve to get fired by the Bears. On the other hand since getting fired by the Bears(in 2012) he hasn't had a single winning season including in college and mostly the ugly kind of losing season not the 7-9 kind.

He was one of the better defensive guys of his Era but his style doesn't really work anymore.

He has only had three good seasons one great season as HC. How is he close to the HOF? He's under 500 as a HC.

He was actually above .500 before this season. Terrible record pushed him under. At one point he was well above .500. If he would have had a good team maybe went on to win a SB he'd be in consideration. Even more so if this had happened in 2013 without the decade of crap seasons. He had a very good reputation in the early 2010s was one of the elite coaches.

Situation like Gruden, Gruden was barely holding on to a career .500 record by the time of his scandal but at one point he was an elite coach but he just kept slipping and slipping as the losing seasons started to pile up. Gradually went from a coaching icon to a can and I think that's what we saw with Lovie Smith.

What a shit take. I thought this was a joke until I saw RG3 made the tweet. Lmao

The bigger issue is what they did to Cully who actually did do a good job and was building something with this dumpster fire(was developing Mills just fine). Smith was there as a shield because they weren't allowed to hire the unqualified HS coach they wanted(McCown I think) because the media would have lost their minds. So they hired Smith so they could tank in peace and wait for the storm to die down.

Hiring and firing Smith after one year isn't the issue it was Cully. Like Cantolope said the game has passed Smith by.

The Texans will hire jim cald and fire him after one year. Or they’ll hire a white guy and rebuild with him when he gets to draft his own qb. Or maybe they’ll hire a Latin coach like Rivera. Either way I’m prepared to kneel for this injustice.
