I know some one will think they can get more out of him. Even Rosen had multiple opportunities. But this is just a case where measurables mean something. He’s not fast, really small and meh arm. Who would have thought he’d struggle so bad. Lmao
I dont think thats a fair assessment. He pulled some magician shit at Bama.

Anyway its a nearly zero risk, slightly possible chance of a reward situation. I bet the Panthers would give him up for a 5th round pick or a decent player.

That said, if you dont have a dominant o-line and skill players there is 0 point to look that way. He needs it to say the very least.

He should go to Seattle and learn from geno

Who would have guessed Sam Darnold is good, Caleb Williams sucks, and Kirk Cousins basically does Kirky things. As a Vikes fan this is so Kirk so far. By the end of the season Falcons fan will be over him, guaranteed.
A bit early to conclude Caleb Williams sucks, dontchathink?

He's baiting. He came in here talking about how Caleb Williams is a diva and he won't be successful. When pressed he said he worked for a dirt sheet paper or something before like it had any bearing on his ability to analyze football. I called him out when Caleb was voted team captain and he stayed away from the thread until week 1 was over, now he comes in with these takes because the Bears lost. He blames Caleb and not the atrocious offensive line, because he doesn't know what he's watching.

He didn't realize none of the rookie QB's have thrown a TD yet. Offenses in general are even slower to start this year.

3 preseason games and barely starting starters will do that

It's hilarious the panthers only played young in one series.. it's almost intentional

In fairness to JaBryce, he's better than Tua at literally everything.

This is why I don't fully understand paying QB's these crazy amounts. You could pay your QB and your team look like Jacksonville does right now. I know this is an offensive league and finding a good QB is hard but if that's the case why not just use those funds that would be used for a QB (that's likely overpaid) to improve your defense, secondary and OL. Hell, even good QB's in this league struggle when the OL sucks (looks at Burrow from a few years ago).

Go through Super Bowl winners the last 20 years and tell me how many were won without a good/great QB?

I didn't mean having a terrible QB. I know a QB is needed but all the money is being paid to mid-tier QB's when that money could go to other things. To answer your question though I looked back and some decent QB's that have won Super Bowls in the past 20 years include Flacco and Foles. Hell, some wouldn't even consider Eli a high tier QB and he has 2 rings.

Doesn’t matter what he did at Bama. Bama had almost every team beat talent wise every week. Measurables matter and he had none. Lmao @ drafting a historical outlier number 1 overall and being surprised when he’s terrible. Everyone should have seen this coming.

I honestly dont know what you are talking about when you keep saying no measurables. The combine shit?

Like I said its likely hes a bust. But, this same team made Baker and Darnold look like terrible QBs. Now theyre balling. I think its incredibly rare that a QB is able to negate a bad team situation.

Id suggest going and looking at their contracts and cap limit at those times. They were all highly paid, and a backup winning a SB (that he didnt get involved in until the end of the season) is a freak anomaly.
