Throwing over mountains and shit.
If Kaep really wants to go to Cleveland he is fucking crazy. I don't care what they could offer money or coaching wise. That place is a fucking black hole for QBs.
The Akron Beacon Journal reports Colin Kaepernick has balked at taking a major pay cut to join the Browns because he's "not impressed" with how the team has handled free agency.
Cleveland has basically punted free agency, losing Mitchell Schwartz, Tashaun Gipson, Travis Benjamin and Alex Mack in a span of a few days. Kaepernick is interested in playing for head coach Hue Jackson but not if Cleveland can't be competitive. According to reports, if the Broncos approached Kaepernick with a contract similar to the one Cleveland is offering, he'd sign it "without hesitation." It's looking like Cleveland may have to endure another year with Josh McCown as the starting quarterback.
Looks like it was split between 2015/16. He's still costing them $2.5 million this season.Got some clarification on accounting for incentive-laden deals. If the incentives are classified as "Likely to be earned," they affect the cap for that year. If they are "Unlikely to be earned," they would hit the cap the next season. Still not sure how Peyton's bonuses for reaching the Super Bowl and winning it were a cap hit for the 2015 season since wouldn't those likely be more unlikely?
apparently he really loves run blocking lolI'm happy with the Bucs FA moves so far. Really like the Grimes and Ayers signing, but not so sure about the Sweezy
Pretty much exactly what I said. He wanted to play for Hue Jackson, had nothing to do with the organization and Denver would still be an attractive destination.Per Rotoworld.

Make it happen, Elway. Third rounder and Canchez for Kaep, it's basically a 3rd and a 7th.
His cap hit last season was $17.5 million. His dead cap hit this season is the other half of that restructure at $2.5 million.I believe the 2016 dead cap of 2.5 million was for them restructuring $10 million in 2013 over 4 years. His incentives hit their 2015 cap, which seems weird because winning an AFC Championship and Super Bowl are not super likely scenarios for any team.
