You can send rushers to help rush the progressions which helps the secondary though *shrug*

Blitzes dont work very often though. Extra coverage is better for a struggling secondary, especially when you are using your best DB to rush the passer.

And, when the QB is torching you on blitzes its probably wise to stop blitzing lol.
