It's not her voice, it is the emphasis on overenuciation. She is like a local news reporter that overenuciates and drops the tone in order to sound "professional". It is literally some shit from pre 1950 and it is excruciating.

it's almost a faux midwestern twang, which is strange since she grew up in NY.
