Is Lamar just GOAT or is he in fact the Second Coming of Christ? Discuss.

In hindsight the Ravens should be ashamed they lost to the Browns.

There were a lot of new faces on the defense after that game. 7 different starters from that game tonight.

But yeah, it was a disgusting loss. Mayfield had the best game of his season. He was getting rid of it very quick and the Ravens were a mess in the secondary at the time, kept give up huge plays. They've cut that down a ton since.

Yeah cause Fitzmagic's 48 has made him a Hall of Famer . Marino didn't exactly impress anyone with his 16 either.

Lol, people who care can wonder lick these nuts. He's a genius on the field. All I care about. With the Ravens up 4, Lamar put together drives of 8:50 and over 9 minutes back-to-back, both for TDs. Converted multiple third downs and a 4th down try. Just ground the defense down and made Brady watch almost the entire second half from the bench. All of this, right when it looked like Brady was tiring the Ravens defense by going no huddle.

Not saying they are bad. Just saying qbs who run have a short life expectancy compared to pocket passers.

Yeah. I'm just rooting for him because, you can tell he is putting in the time to try to get better, this isn't a guy expecting things to come his way.

Meh, plenty of pocket passers get hurt too. Vick and Cam both had longer than average careers. Rodgers and Young ran. Cunningham played a long time. McNabb and Moon did some running. Big Rape, Russell and McNair scrambled a lot.

Mostly everyone just remembers what happened to RG3, but he ran reckless and took a lot of huge shots. Lamar doesn't take a lot of shots. This was by far the game he's been hit hardest in this season and he didn't really get banged up. He's also bigger, stronger and way more elusive than RG3.

I’m all for it, he’ll need to develop his passing game to me a household name for years though. The fact that he was the 5th we picked and he’s leading this ravens team to a fair shot at making the super bowl is very impressive, but I’m wondering if defenses will figure him out, or he will expand his arsenal first.

The team is built around his talents, yes he needs to get better , but they built up a solid line that can run a give him time , signing Mark Ingram was huge and also drafting Hollywood Brown to grow with will be good too.

Completed 64% of his passes for over 1,800 yards with 12 TDs at 8 games in. He was conservative throwing tonight because they respected that Pats secondary and the gameplan was clearly to go for long, sustained drives. But he was also 17-23 throwing with 1 TD and 0 INTs against that secondary that had 19 picks in 8 games. Clearly he didn't need to throw more, but he can. Bare in mind he's only 22 and this was still only his 15th game in the NFL against the #1 defense in the league. He's going to be ridiculous in a couple years.
