Who thought their paths would look so different? Maynard is making his FW debut in an attempt to save his career (and possibly spot in the UFC) while Edgar is fighting for the #1 spot and what could become the real belt at the FW division.
Just Something to keep a mind on during the cray UFC 200 week.

Some fighters fall off fast.

Others don't.

Is normal

Nobody remembers the guy who came in second.

I've thought about this before, how Gray's career fell quickly after Edgar III. kind of sad but that's the fight game

Gray, has had a decent career, in the UFC.

I blame that for his decline.

Gray's chin pulled the Chuck disappearance act.

He's 0-4 in his last four. 1-5 in his last six. 4 of them by KO/TKO. He's 37. Someone in his circle needs to have that talk with him.

Seems like just yesterday that Maynard was called a big LW. Now he's cutting even more.

I'll always love Gray for refusing to pick Gabe Ruediger up off the floor on TUF after the most embarrassing attempted weight cut ever.

No doubt TS... Gray haz had a hard go at it.

Seemz like his chin is compromized.

Maybe this year off got his head to stop spinning.

A lot of people also don't realize that Maynard got a late start in MMA and already pretty dam up there in years for a lower weight class fighter. For perspective, he's the same age as BJ Penn.

I thought he retired. Hell, I didn't even know he fought after Nate tko'd him.

Last time I saw Gray interviewed I had not idea what he was trying to say. Can't believe he passes brain scans during licensing

It went south for him quickly. Watching interviews of him I don't believe he should be fighting anymore.

Frankie cracked that chin. Several KOs followed

Anybody remember Willin? The Maynard superfan that used to post on here until around the time Diaz pasted Gray?

That guy was funny.
