I don't remember a string of cards this bad in, well, maybe ever...

UFC on ESPN 25

Main card:

Jan vs Anderson
Sanchez vs Michel
Yancy vs Lando
3 other fights that are weak on paper (tell me if there's exciting ones)

UFC on ESPN 26

Main card:

Hooker vs Felder
5 other fights that I don't know much about (tell me if there's exciting ones)

UFC on ESPN 27

Main card:

Joseph B vs Deiveson for Flyweight strap
5 other fights that are weak af on paper (tell me if I'm wrong)

UFC 248 can't come quick enough. This is a nice break though. Thoughts?

The next PPV March 7 Izzy vs Yoel is a good one

And the fight night in Brazil after that has some fun fights too--Lee v Oliveira, Walker v Krylov, Maia v Burns, EZ Dos Santos v Kunchenko

Hooker vs Felder is an awesome matchup but can't say I'm a fan of Anderson or Blachowicz

It's almost like the UFC saves their PPV worthy cards for...PPV

You aren't wrong, the UFC is watering down their cards and then relying on a "big" main event.

I don't know if you noticed the trend lately but most cards are weak now.

Cards have been literally weak since USADA shitted up the sport.

Feb 15 has three fantastic fights on the undercard:
Bontorin vs Borg
Dodson vs Wood
Kenney vs Dvalishvili

Feb 23 has four great undercard fights:
Oleskieczuk vs Crute
Karolina vs Yan
Mustafaev vs Riddell
Aguilar vs Tukhugov

why do i respond to trolls? If you don't immediately recognize these as fantastic fights, you need to post less on here.

Utter insanity that a guy like Nathaniel Wood can go 3-0 in the UFC with three finishes and morons on the internet whine about weak cards.

Unless most cards are loaded with names apparently they are trash...
Most of this forum definitely seems to have a casual mentality tbh, not every card can be stacked.

New Mexico:
- Dvalishvili fights with the tenacity of a budget Khabib.
- Nathaniel Wood could be England's best prospect.
- Tim Means nuff said.
- Sanchez is fighting another nutcase.

Australia
- Oleksiejczuk vs Crute is a matchup between good LHW prospects.
- Mustafaev had a low key KOTYC and Riddell a low key FOTYC.
- Aguilar still has a lot of promise considering how good Ige has looked. He's fighting Khabib's boy.

Virginia
- Cutelaba vs Ankalaev is guaranteed violence. You should really know these guys.
- Mike Davis damn near killed a mans.
- They call Naurdiev the Austrian Wonder Boy.

Everything else

yea no bueno.

Dana made us wait 3 weeks for Ode Osbourne vs Brian Kelleher, Greene vs Oleynik and Holm Vs Pennington 2 on a PPV

next PPV he threw in Justin Tafa v Adams

The ones you mentioned are all free on ESPN and have tons of great fights guaranteed to be better than all the ones I mentioned especially Holm vs Rocky 2.

Fight nights are going to be weak as fuck for the rest of human civilization.

Thoughts are you should just pipe down and watch fights.

It’s amazing, people assume still that if you aren’t a “known” fighter (which is again kind of sad that as a “hardcore” fan base, you goofs don’t know the fighters, not saying I know everyone, but over the next 3 cards there are plenty of competitive fights and fights between guys who have been in the UFC before) that you can’t produce a good fight.

This week’s ppv should have again reminded you, even if a card looks “weak” it can deliver the goods. Generally, these kind of cards tend to be more action packed as not everyone is at the top of their game where certain skill-sets cancel each other out or there are fewer mistakes made. Lots of finishes. I’ll be watching them as I do basically every event, from start to finish in hopes of seeing some good fights.

The march 7 card is pretty crazy though especially if Till/Cannonier gets made.

The Rio Rancho card is not great, but I'm definitely looking forward to the New Zealand card. Mustafaev-Riddell has the potential to be absolutely bonkers.

And the next 2 PPVs are both amazing. I can deal with a couple of mediocre Fight Nights. Anything is better than 246.
