Next for Brandao?

Man it was nice seeing the Brandao that I grew to love on TUF. Coming off of the show I never thought the guy would be a world beater but I at least felt he would have a few exciting knockouts. In an interview leading up to his fight he said he was returning to Brazil to get back to his more violent roots and I would say he made good on that promise(given his opponent was asking for it).

So who do you guys see him fighting next?? I've been wanting to see him fight Maximo Blanco for a while now. I think the timing is perfect at this point and it'll make for beautiful violence. What say you?

Amirkhani. Both on two fight win streaks in the UFC. We'd get to see if Amirkhani is the real deal or not.

Another thread on here mentioned having him welcome Barao to 145. I like that fight, as both of them are good strikers with impressive ground games. However, Barao is likely better in both areas and would probably take it.

That would be a pretty good scrap as like you said they have similar skill sets but honestly I feel Barao would outclass him in all areas. I'd rather him fight someone else where it would be more competitive.

Can't believe I forgot about Sicilia! He is always good for a brawl, I wouldn't mind seeing that fight either. Too bad Rony Jason is on suspension, he'd be interesting in the mix as well.
