Newbury Park by far best high school cross country ever

The national record for a 5K course was set 21 years ago. The time was 14:10.

On Saturday 3 guys from Newbury Park High School were under the record and their 4th was 4 seconds off it ran 14:14. Their overall average time for their top 5 runners was 14:14 for a 5K.

Most people here don't care or understand cross country races. But this is by bar the most incredible high school cross country team performance ever and will probably never be beaten.

Many division 1 college programs don't have 5 guys who can run 14:14.

Those kids and coach deserve credit for their work. They aren't sitting on their butts all day playing video games.
