    There's this other local musician I gig with that plays with only 3 strings.

    And he's pretty good lol. Definitely has a unique sound

    Idk if you've ever listened to Morphine but the bassist-Mark Sandman-who dropped dead during a show-played a 2 string bass Cool sound for sure
