What he meant is that Jones doesn't typically have a go-to short range punch with power like a good short hook or uppercut. The uppercut to the body was great but Shogun was beaten down badly for like 13 minutes or whatever it was before tapping to strikes. Shogun ate a flying knee immediately in round 1 and was on auto-pilot for the entire fight, more or less. So, what you're showing isn't really saying as much as you think it is. Gustafsson has brutally uppercuts and hooks from the clinch. He's a boxer, he specializes in throwing his fisticuffs. Jones, on the other hand, certainly is no boxer and doesn't put his punches together. Jones also doesn't hit very hard, Gus does.
