you do realize fights in other weight classes do have some impact in their current weight class right? they don't just act as if they never happened. boxing, with independent sanctioning bodies (i know they suck) does the same thing.

Yeah but he hasn't beaten a significant opponent in over 4 years? And both significant opponents he's faced... he lost, badly.

I know everybody likes to say Cowboy is significant, which maybe overall and legacy bla bla but the dude was on like a 100 fight lose streak... and continues! Everybody has beaten him lol, he's not even ranked in his weight. So why exactly is Conor #6 LW in the world, other than his fame / past glory?
