New takedown technique.

Features one of my favorite wrestlers: Baev, and an old favorite: Ramonov - gets a like from me. Awesome video!

It truly is an awesome video. All of your videos are. Though like a blast double. Not every athlete will be best suited to hit the move if they aren’t the most explosive.

Hi I'm Coach Fiorito and I just released my latest wrestling breakdown video. This is a great takedown that you can transition right into side control. Let me know what you think?

Nice technique and great analysis. Is there a reason Baev or others would choose not to reap the other leg, particularly under wrestling rules? IMHO it makes the TD cleaner if you can get it.

I used to do something like this but with the reap - here's a clip of me hitting it a few years ago in a BJJ tournament. Any comments welcome and I'm curious if anyone else does it this way. Disadvantage is you end up in guard vs. side control but completion is cleaner if you lack the explosion for blast doubles like @jack36767 mentions above.

NOTE: I'm not trying to compare myself to Baev or other high level guys. I suck. This used to be one of my go to TDs in the 90's and early 2000's in scrub level folkstyle, Judo and some senior freestyle when I felt like being humbled. It was worth Ippon in Judo and used to be worth 3 points in freestyle (I understand would be 4 points now).

it looks like a basic take down but the way the man sets it up is high wrestling iq stuff
