I like Sprawl but those aren't doing it for me. Glad you like them though!

if you were to read the other thread on this you would know that they are not just meant for MMA but for the gym--hence more pockets

In the other thread, the pockets seemed to get the most flack/criticism. The external pockets aren't so bad, and they're great for the cross-training purpose of these shorts so when going to the gym you can actually carry your phone outside your shorts and not next to your package, lol. I mean, Nogi and Hitman Fight Gear among others have an external pocket and a lot of folks here love their shorts. This has an extra pocket, but I don't see how you shouldn't be able to roll in them to a degree. Of course, the V-Flex and G-Flex line are designed specifically for that and should be the first choice for MMA/grappling training, but for cross-training these shorts look pretty good.

The black/grey trim looks nice, but as I don't own a pair of full camo short yet, I'd go with the camo ones if I needed to grab a pair of new Sprawls.

You get to pick between boring and tacky as fuck.

I REALLY don't get the camo fad...

I don't get it. Sprawl makes good shorts, but the colors are hideous. Like the blue ones I just ordered - Blue is nice and all but why combine it with grey??? It looks weird.... what is wrong with white or black instead of the grey? And my black/yellow competitions - that has to be one of the ugliest yellows I've ever seen. Still great shorts though, but somebody in the design department is colorblind...

I ordered them immediately. I will use them more for casual wear though. I was about to get some Quicksilver shorts since summer is here and I needed more shorts anyway. Since I don't surf but train and watch mma I figured why not spend extra and support a company that supports the sport.

I gotta agree with this guy here. The color schemes and ideas have always been wack.

I would rather see some new colors for the v-flex instead of them coming out with these. Nothing special, I won't be buying these.

I would like to see some more color combinations come out but I do tend to like the black/yellow ones. Maybe just as a best of what I have to choose from. These shorts look interesting and I may end up ordering a pair down the road but they are not at the top of my current list. Hopefully, sprawl will come out with some new color combinations soon as they are my first choice for fight shorts.

Um....thumbs down. Those look like something you might find in the athletic apparel section of a thrift store.
