Comes in a box and probably the best mattress you'll sleep on. Made in Los Angeles

Whats the recommendation on foam & fatties. Am I going to feel like a taco in a sarlacc pit if I go with one of those?
It does. I have a traditional mattress now that, tbh, is too old, but never gave me a problem. About 6-8 months ago my back started bothering me (only lasted a few weeks) and I considered foam, but just never got around to it.I recommend foams for the "big boned" because the coils wont last, but your going to want to go with a firm memory foam or latex foam, hope that helps
We all know the mark-up on mattresses is crazy and we've all seen the numerous internet mattress commercials trying to take advantage of that. Well, now I'm in the market for some new mattresses (maybe 2 to 3) and I'm looking for some insider knowledge and testimonials.
What say you Sherdog, what is the best mattress for the buck?
Go to sleeplikethedead website. They do a good job of reviewing everything that has to do with sleeping (mattress, pillows, linen, etc)

I got my bed from bed in a box. Delivered from online, great prices and reviews. Best bed ever, for half the price of serta, selly because they don't have huge overhead.

20 year warranty, certipur certified.
This website REALLY puts the mattresses through ALOT of tests...
'Mattress Types and Sex Suitability
The different mattress types can have good, fair, and poor aspects in regard to romance friendliness.'

Cheaper range: helixWe bought a really expensive memory foam mattress for our Flou bed and I don't know that I've ever liked it. It was like $2400 15 yrs ago. TBH I've slept much better on a mid to high end conventional mattress, all of which were much cheaper.
Got a brand name to suggest?
Cheaper range: helix
Mid range: bed in a box
Higher price range: tempur-pedic
Latex or memoryfoam beds only. Everything else is meh
