I recommend foams for the "big boned" because the coils wont last, but your going to want to go with a firm memory foam or latex foam, hope that helps

But when you get a new beds, redo the room too. I did paint, curtians, bed sheetels and comforter,etc.. It make evwrything 100x better.

It does. I have a traditional mattress now that, tbh, is too old, but never gave me a problem. About 6-8 months ago my back started bothering me (only lasted a few weeks) and I considered foam, but just never got around to it.

Well if it has to much give during teh sex, i ain't buying it.

Plus you know that's one of main reason us sherdoggers buy a new mattress. Cuz we wore out the old ones from having too much sex with multiple supermodel type dames.

We bought a really expensive memory foam mattress for our Flou bed and I don't know that I've ever liked it. It was like $2400 15 yrs ago. TBH I've slept much better on a mid to high end conventional mattress, all of which were much cheaper.
