Yes. The story where he was a VIP performing at Trump's casino and ended up in the same elevator with Trump sure was unbelievable...

It's amazing how effective metoo was.
What’s the “ elevator with Trump” thing ? What happened ?

At a low point in my life several years ago, I spent countless hours listening to Patrice and Louie on O&A. I've heard every appearance they've made at least a couple times. Lots of douchey radio humor but when it was good, it was some of the funniest shit I've ever heard. Patrice was a brilliant comic and better than anyone off the cuff. He's probably my favorite out of anyone to ever do it.

Listening to those old episodes is also how I realized Louie is a pathological liar and seriously disturbed person. When the news broke, it didn't surprise me at all. I'm fairly confident he's done a lot of sketchy shit in his life. He was telling stories of pulling his dick out in front of strangers as a kid back then, impulsively jerking off at peep show booths, etc. That isn't enough to condemn him for on its own, but that combined with what we now know paints a pretty clear picture. I fully believe he made a habit of fucking with people's careers too.

He also had countless bizarre coincidental stories, like randomly ending up in an elevator alone with Trump or being right next to the president's motorcade. It's like he got so comfortable being loose with the truth onstage in storytelling that he realized he can just say anything and people will go with it as long as he makes them laugh. I don't believe a word out of his mouth.

I'll still check this special out and enjoy it if it's good. He's one of the most talented comics of all time. You can be a fan of someone's work and still acknowledge that they're a fairly shitty human being.

Only the first paragraph here was really in response to your post btw.

Wait hang on, do you actually think comedians are telling the truth most of the time when they tell their stories? LOL, 95% of that shit is made up for the sake of the joke. Look up a bit Louis does called 'My Neighbour George' where he kind of deconstructs that.

Do you genuinely think Chappelle bought weed from a baby at 2am in the morning?

Wait hang on, do you actually think I was talking about material told onstage as if it were the same as the stories comics tell in conversation during their every day life? LOL.

It's one small example of the many lies Louie tells. All good lies start off with a true premise, then are stretched beyond that to something believable but unlikely. Almost every story Louie tells ends up sounding fantastical by the end of it. It isn't enough for him to just tell the truth, he has to go further and have some crazy coincidence or bizarre event that happened. The boating story he told on O&A would be another example that I doubt is entirely true. I'm sure some of it happened, then he just runs with it.

In the Trump story, he ended up alone on an elevator with him and talked about how miserable he seemed. In reality, Louie probably just saw him at the event looking unhappy so he created the story of them just happening to be alone together on an elevator. That one story on it's own isn't over the top, but I've heard him speak more than enough to see the pattern. Real life isn't like a movie where everything that has ever happened to you has some cinematic moment. Most people aren't very perceptive though, they just believe what they're told when they like the person.

Lol I knew the second you brought in chapelle he would dicktuck. It's almost like his dislike for Louis and love for Chappelle is based on something other than their standup or something. I wonder what it could be...

I literally explained in the post that it's like Louie got used to telling lies on stage, then started telling them in real life. Chappelle only makes shit up onstage.

It's like he got so comfortable being loose with the truth onstage in storytelling that he realized he can just say anything and people will go with it as long as he makes them laugh.

I'm a fan of Louie, I also recognize that he's a shitty person and a liar. That's where his comedic genius comes from. Well adjusted people don't become great comics.

Can't even imagine what's going on in the brain of a person who reads my posts and thinks #MeToo or race (I'm not black and never even mentioned Chappelle before this post) had anything to do with it or that I dick tucked by putting train wheels on my original post, to spell it out for someone who didn't possess the level of reading comprehension necessary to understand a basic point.

What a sad way to go through life, trying to immediately pigeonhole everyone who disagrees with you with partisan rhetoric. I actually can't stand Chappelle anymore and I think Louie is one of the greatest to ever do it. #MeToo annoyed the shit out of me. A world exists outside of your misguided paradigm. I've seen your posts in The War Room though, so I don't expect you to ever be reasonable about anything.

As usual the guys spinning a crock of shit post these novels.

When you're telling the truth, you don't need paragraphs breaks.

And of course you've seen my posts in the WR. You're a returning ban.

Maybe a few sentences and an ad hominem argument is all your brain can handle but most educated adults can make it through some paragraphs on a forum. I'd probably wait for a longer reply next time, before pulling this response out hoping it hits the mark.

You know it's okay to admit you misjudged someone, right? It's also okay to disagree. You don't think Louie is a shitty person, great. What the fuck does that have to do with politics or social causes?

You do understand that when he's on O&A or a talk show he's essentially performing for an audience don't you? Whether the bit is on stage or not it doesn't really matter, I've seen Chappelle tell some obvious horseshit stories while in interviews, my first thought wasn't 'this guy is a fraud', it's just a set up for a joke.

I think you are being a bit autistic about this, guy. There isn't a magic dividing line between the stage and everything else for comedians. A lot of them probably tell these stories on a daily basis to gauge people's reactions to them, whether they're funny, whether they should use it in their new set, etc.

I get what you mean but understand that hes a comedian. These guys concoct humour from adding eccentricity to everyday life stories. He even says it on one of his stand ups "...because it didn't actually happen". Huge fan of X btw.

Yes, I understand that. We don't have to keep doing the condescending question thing to start off our replies.

That's a fair argument. You're at least making a case for your opinion, that a conversation on the radio is an extension of his comedy so he can still exaggerate for comedic effect, even if he's presenting it as a factual story. I can appreciate that point.

I'm saying that for me, that's just one piece of the puzzle in looking at the bigger picture of who he is as a person. My assessment of him doesn't hang on this, it's just an observation that he seems to feel comfortable stretching the truth. I'd compare his appearances on O&A to Patrice's, who I'm fairly confident was always honest. He didn't need to make anything up for the story about his Puma suit being stolen to be one of the most hilarious things ever. That's all I'm saying.

I was a Louis fan back when the right wing guys were shitting on him for being woke a few years back and I'm still a fan now that the woke people are shitting on him for metoo.

The problem is I've already dealt with people like you four years ago, dreaming up reasons to dislike him to hide their true motivations.

You are just like them.

Great. I saw Louie live at the Comedy Cellar well over a decade ago and I'm a still a fan of his today.

I'm not woke. You are making broad generalizations and assumptions. I don't like him as a person because I think he's a shitty person. What is my true motivation supposed to be here? What am I gaining from disliking a person whose work I'm currently a fan of?

Now that I think about it, I've actually had in person arguments with women and defended Louie when they talked about him as if he was just a straight up rapist.

I just think he's a shitty person and there are a number of reasons why that's a fair conclusion to come to.

What ultimately gave you away was 'shitty person.' That is what lefties call people nowadays. 'Piece of shit,' 'shitty person,' 'shitty human being,' etc... any variety of that. It's all tied up in the leftie mentality that lefties are the good guys and right wing people are the bad guys and so anyone who doesn't share your views is a piece of shit.

You probably do it so much you don't even realize it. But to everyone else it's an instant give away.

Add in the fact you are a returning banned poster... You're just in a tough spot.

You can try to talk your way put of it now but it's too late.

So everyone who uses the word 'shitty' is just another leftie for you to box in and not have to take seriously? What if I called him an asshole, does that change anything? How about scumbag? Cuck weirdo? Beta male? I think all of those describe him. Take your pick.

I have no interest in trying to talk my way out of anything. I made valid points, backed them up and you started flailing. Not only have you not refuted anything I've said, you haven't even attempted to engage the content of my posts. It's been nothing but strawman and ad hominem arguments. I was just interested to see how far you'd take this bizarre defense of a shitty (oh no, I said the word that triggered you again) person who happens to be a great comic. Turns out, you'll do all the mental gymnastics you have to. The irony is that you're the one acting like a woke SJW here, getting all up in your feelings instead of focusing on facts.

Literally every single assumption you have made about me was incorrect and you have thought you've known more about me, the more times you've been wrong. If that doesn't give you pause then hey man, good luck going through life that way.

Imagine having the mentality that goes into trying to turn a discussion about the behavior of a comic into a right versus left argument.
