New Koral MKM's

woa there some unnecessary big ugly patches they added there. Especially the one at the back. Just buy a Koral classic at $40 cheaper its the same kimono minus the patches which you're paying extra for

my thoughts exactly..i got a black classic and love it..couldnt afford the atama m9 in black ;(
 
I wonder why companies think that splattering their gi's with advertising makes it look better?
 
I'm usually a fan of patches. I come from a traditional MA background and the gi's were pretty plain. So pretty much dig having patches and things on my gi now. That being said, not a big fan of the back patch on this one
 
actually from my observations, the MKMs are slightly longer and a bit more fitted. I have 2 MKMs and 2 Classics. The classics fit a bit wider in the body and are shorter. The MKMs are slightly longer and feel a bit tighter (not by much).


This could be due to the Classics being bought in early 07' and the MKM bought in 08'. Different batches or something.
 
theres nothing that fits better than my marcelo ed. lucky..i think im just gunna buy another of the new version of one of those..
 
Actually the MKM cut is different. I have measured each size in the Classic and MKM.

Hmmm.... conflicting accounts. Aside from the patches are they or are they not the same? I have an atama 9 that feels like sand paper next to my koral classic. Is the mkm any more or less soft? I need.a new gi, so i am asking.

Oh, and the koral fits better than atama. The atama pants are nice though.
 
The patches don't really bother me all that much, I've seen school patches with way more "excess" going on.
 
i prefer mundial 9 to mkm. skirt is too short for me. what is awesome about koral is that they don't shrink, no matter what.
 
my teacher is sponsored by them, so I see these daily. not flashy, but I can see how some might say its a bit much. I think its just the contrasting colors (so bold and big)
 
Just order mine today in white I'll try to post some pics when I get it.
