So its a class b driving job (delivery of ice), full time, year round. I was told its hourly plus incentive pay, i was told its not a sales position as in I'm not selling ice to anyone, more like restocking what they need at several different locations throughout the day.

I did not understand this chart at first lol.

Means they take out 168 a month, probably to cover the gas you use.

Looks like that would be your number of hours, per month (regular). 168 / 4 (weeks) = 42 hours per week.

The second column would be overtime hours.

Ohh okay, yeah i had no idea I'm coming from driving school bus for a few years so this is a little different.
Yeah its weird but you'll learn to budget accordingly.

Are you driving a semi-automatic assault truck or a fully automatic assault truck?

Yeah looks to be your number of hours. Which is weird because I thought they had to pay overtime over 40. Maybe that's just how most employers do it or something?

Haven't switched jobs in 3 years feels kinda weird, i hate being the new guy.

Who are you worried about? Your truck?

Edit: You can now call yourself the Ice Man. Yes, corny but it'll make a funny lame joke if pulled off right.

How do you get incentives?
Haha i honestly don't know like i said I'm not selling anything, i know they said something about safe driving incentives idk i probably should have asked about it more in depth i just figured the flat hourly rate with how many hours (50+wk) they were offering me in the summer was legit.

I mean i just drive a route to places like Walmart, SA, etc and re stock whatever bags of Ice they need. So idk where the incentives come from.

You'll prob jump up to 10% and then 15% and then the max of 20% over the months if you do a great job. Prob drop 5% when you fuck up. Is it a flat $15/hour forever or will you get yearly raises?

yeah that's sounds right they said if you do your job correctly you'll make a lot of money.

And there are raises yes i don't think it will take too long to get back up to $17 which is what i was previously making.

It's gonna be really weird dThe real question is who needs ice in the twin cities in the winter?
