"A 62-year-old male was assaulted in a Friendly's parking lot for wearing a Donald Trump T-shirt, Bloomfield police reported Tuesday.

The victim was walking on West Passaic Avenue in Bloomfield at 5:41 p.m. Wednesday when a male in an older gray compact vehicle questioned him about his shirt of the Republican presidential candidate. The suspect directed profanities at the victim as he continued to follow the victim.

The suspect followed the victim to the restaurant at 1243 Broad St. The suspect then approached the victim armed with a crowbar. An altercation occurred, with the suspect striking the victim several times, police said."

How many attacks, riots, and attempts to shut down speeches do we need to witness before the Bernie/Hillary supporters will admit that their side has had the near complete monopoly on use of violence for political purposes this election season? Yet countless times we've heard about how dangerous Trumpers are.
 
He should not have hit that man with that crowbar. It was the wrong thing to do.

Bravo! Now, would you be willing to go one step further and admit the lion's share of violence and intimidation tactics have come from the Democrats? Shutting down speeches due to disruption, riots, destruction of property, attacks, all that?
 
w/o reading more than the title, im guessing the attacker is black or hispanic and the victim is white. amirite.?

I'm just a simple family man with simple family values. I only care about what's right. And it was very wrong for that one man to hit the other man with that crowbar, no matter what shirt he wore. Imagine hitting a man with a bar made of crow, simply for wearing a shirt you don't like. This is what is wrong with America. We have lost our simple family values.

The left imagined this would happen when a black president was running. Of course right wing Americans are far less racist than people believe, and the left is far more violent and childish than they believe.

Thank god there wasn't. Then we'd have to hear about how he was an innocent young man--probably an honor student--hunted down like an animal due to systemic racism. There'd be a riot in New Jersey, BLM would gain a little more steam, Trump would speak honestly about it and the left would use that as further fuel for the "he's a racist!!!111" fire, and eventually the cycle of violence as propagated by the radical leftists would get worse.
 
Maybe he should have been roughed up because it was absolutely disgusting what he was doing.

It's a shitty thing that it happened though. A shame no one stepped in with a knife or handgun.

I'm a hypocrite, if I see someone with a Swazi tattoo or shirt I'm going to consider bottling them in the side of the head. Old habits and all.

I was assaulted as a teenager for wearing this on a shirt. Another time for an upside down American Flag patch, and once for this shirt.

Certainly weren't leftists though, didn't want to shoot them, but wouldn't mind taking a bat to a skull over it lol.
 
Trump's doing a great job at being the "law & order" candidate, isn't he? He really inspires calm in the people.

The Dems have been increasingly anti-free speech this election cycle, pretty quiet out of the Reps camp.
