4 This bill revises the definition of “large capacity ammunition
15 magazine” to reduce the number of rounds of ammunition a legal
16 magazine may hold in this State.
17 Under current law, it is unlawful to own or possess an
18 ammunition magazine that is capable of holding more than 15
19 rounds of ammunition.
20 This bill would reduce the maximum capacity of a legal
21 ammunition magazine in New Jersey to five rounds.

Hopefully you are a pretty good shot if facing multiple robbers.

I'd like to know, how far this goes before people start pushing back hard? @SMEAC

i not get you guys. why not just make it harder to get guns only qualified people unless you in country and why not make the automatics illegal. 5 rounds for a gun is so low and stupid.

What a shit bill.

If they get this then it will be 4 then 3 then 2 then 1.

'All I hear is we don't want to take your guns".

When thats what they want by any means possible.

Luckily, it only takes one bullet to escape New Jersey.

We have that here except for rim fre which has no limit.

Another attempt to whittle away at the 2nd amendment.

5 Rounds? Do the bill proponents think everyone is an expert marksman who never misses?

How many rounds fit in a bear arm anyway?

That's pretty much telling cops if you feel threatened your only option is a headshot.

6 seems excessive...

WTF?

Wrong thread.

A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

^

Found that on Twitter somewhere, seems pretty smart. Maybe someone could introduce it to NJ lawmakers.

So the very first cartridge firing handgun produced in our great country would have a larger ammo capacity then a legal AR15? Progressive?

Guess people will start carrying around four or more magazines when they CC.

Then it'll be limiting how many magazines you can have on your person at one time.

Some political "leaders" are so stupid . . .
