Surely women like Helen Pluckrose should go and read some actual books about feminism LOL. http://helensatheistblogs.blogspot.cl/2016/02/why-i-no-longer-identify-as-feminist.html?m=1Feminism believes in equal rights for all, specifically women should have the same rights and socio economic opportunities that men do. Maybe Bec Rawlings should read some actual books instead of judging a movement by what some women argue on the internet.
feminism definition is giving women same right as men and they already do, or are you drinking the kool aid?Feminism believes in equal rights for all, specifically women should have the same rights and socio economic opportunities that men do. Maybe Bec Rawlings should read some actual books instead of judging a movement by what some women argue on the internet.
white women are the most privileged demographic ever atmI think you're the one who needs to look a little deeper. Its not hard to see women were looked at and treated like second class citizens and somewhat still are. If you live in the real world then you would know economic inequality is real but getting better. The truth is the right wings are trying to spin it like it was politically motivated just so they can get more votes and confuse people with non sense. "Make it seem like they are doing it just for votes and in return we will gain more votes form the scared and spiteful".
That's his opinion. It is not fact as you try and put it. My argument is just as valid as his or anyone elses. I live in the real world and know how much women make compared to men with the same education, experience and position. Like I said its getting better. To act like women are not pushed down below men is just ignorant and shows you see in tunnel vision. Again you are not providing hard facts here, its all option as well. I did watch the vid by the way and he makes good points but there is so much left out and again his opinion and his own observation. I see things a little different while agreeing on certain things as well. We could go on and on but I gotta go take care of some things so I won't be able to respond back. This is not an argument. You have to present facts and reason, like I did through the video I posted. Just claiming something is or is not, without factual evidence is simply not an argument. I've looked very deep into the issue, and it would serve you well to start by at least watching the 5 minute video. My evidence for the divide and conquer tactic comes from my reading of Saul Alinskys Rules for Radicals, which Hillary is heavily inspired by, a little research will prove that.
Boring or not so many people are glad that boring fighter holly knocked the crap out of ronda. I'm a fan of respect over disrespect, down to earth over full of ones self, honor over arrogance. If all those things equal a boring personality without the craved WWE mentality so be it.
My belief is based on solid evidence through polling, research, and data. All of which are anti-propaganda. Sorry if the truth hurts, but the truth doesn't care about your feelings.
Also, what you said is not an argument.
Source for feminism linked to the left's "plan to accrue more voters"? You had solid points until that line where you began to sound like a Cruz supporter. Are you basing your opinion about political strategy from the likes of outdated Gloria Steinem?it's simply a tool to divide the masses and accrue more voting support for the Left.

Your data comes from a man who is known to be a firm believer that women should be beneath men because awwww... their feelings are hurt when men are relegated to a status equal to that of a female. That is what his stance is in a nutshell. Typical republican logic.
"Women stay in the kitchen, they have rights. They're fine. They must open their legs when I demand it. They must attend church. They must not be fat. They must, etc etc etc"
The left can't win the war of ideas. Whenever facts, research, polling data etc is introduced to the discussion, they lose and inevitably resort to "you're racist, sexist, homophobic, Islamophobic, xenophobic" etc. But what they can do is deceive, divide, and conquer the populace. A politically educated and united public will not have a need for socialism.
Feminism is just one of many strategies to do this. Man vs woman, gay vs straight, black vs white, rich vs poor etc etc etc and all are tactics derived from the following texts (among others), which are biblical in nature to today's radical left:
They accrue votes this way by framing the discussion in such a way as to say "XYZ is your enemy (men, whites, the rich, etc) and if you vote for us we'll protect you." Of course whatever boogeyman they are presenting falls flat on its face in the light of research and facts. But they need to keep this machine going to retain their power.
If you wish to know more, do a little research on some of todays most powerful Democrats, Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, Bernie Sanders, Harry Reid and you will see that they are highly educated and influenced by the above material, among others not included.
Every single educated person should be educated by ideals/philosophy/scholarship of everyone involved.
And yours? I shit all over it because #1... it screams "insecure male who hates women".
Btw, your boy Trump sleeps with "Mein Kampf" on his nightstand. And no. I am not resorting to -phobias you've listed. I'm calling you out for being a sorry example of a man who is affected by severely skewed and biased research.

This site, however, is much more balanced than the bullshit you're spewing.
Like all lies, Ronda's hype looked great in the short term and fell apart in the long term. That's not something to laud. And people wonder why WMMA and female boxing was getting nowhere before Rousey came along. Thank god the interview was short.

Have you done any research on the differences between children raised in daycare, and children raised by their biological mothers? There is a societal impact.
What the Left has done, is demonize the entire idea of a woman staying at home raising a family. This is because they have created an economy that is so terrible that most mothers don't even have the option to stay at home and raise the family anymore, most families NEED a second income. They don't even have that choice. Back in the 60's a woman had the economic freedom to stay at home or work. Cost of living was way cheaper, the economy was better and there were plenty of jobs. If there was pressure to stay at home, it was because of the invaluable role they play raising children, who are the future of our country and society.
But the Left knows that their economic policies devastate the economy, so instead of allowing the public to know the true consequences of their policies (which would cause them to get voted out), what they do is redirect, attack men, claiming it's men who oppress women and force them to stay home, when the truth is the Left forces them out of the home to work through terrible economic policies.
I'm not for women needing to stay at home, I'm not for women needing to work.
I'm for freedom of choice. In our current economic atmosphere, this is simply not possible for most families.
You're throwing blame on one single political party and that is where you're wrong. Both have created their own errors, shit has gone farther down hill after Reagan imposed "Reaganomics". He even went as far as to try and deregulate the ADA laws. He wanted more money for the defense budget and that is what we're dealing with TODAY.
And no. The role of women changed starting with the industrial revolution in England and America. And after that, when American boys went to war, who would fill in their shoes? The women did. The women learned and enjoyed newfound independence and self-worth in the work force. The passage of women's right to vote in the 1920s and Title IX in 1972 boosted more female independence and rights. No. It's not feminism that's the problem. No, it's not "Left". It's the entire American Culture and the RIGHT's thinking that is a problem. Real liberals want progress, not puppets like Clinton. Whoever it is, we want extreme equality, progression and to say Feminism is a left's propaganda to "accrue voters" lol... there's no evidence at all of that.
