So hes a former Navy Seal who traveled around the world doing top secret stuff for the C.I.A that he cant talk about. He was also a professional Superbike racer for Kawasaki. Then he traveled around the world playing in a metal band. He somehow also found the time to earn a masters in Electrical engineering and mechanical engineering. I cant even keep a straight face when hes talking about all this bullshit. Why do people feel the need to lie to impress others? Anyone else know anyone like this?
Operating engineers union. Basically HVACR and electrical at a large resort on the stripWhat kind of work is this?

Sounds like it worked out well for himHe met this girl that believed all of his bullshit, he proposed to her after a month and gave her a fake diamond ring.
He also graduated from M.I.T. and has 2 masters degrees.
Yep thats exactly how he talks. Always the guy in charge. You said he's Filipino? No offense, but they are notorious for talking themselves up. Nobody ever says they just work for X company. They are head supervisor for the largest supplier of coconuts in the region, and drive a new car and have a very large house, and are friends with Manny Pacquiao. lol
Dude, this guy is a gift. Free, hilarious storytelling while you work. His latest gem:

Sounds like a Sherdogger
A concierge at the previous company I worked at talked about being a fighter, how he competed, etc. So I figured its cool to meet someone else who competes, and we can maybe talk about training, etc. As soon as I mention my training and fights, and gym, he suddenly backs off, not to mention some red flags in his stories.
Some red flags:
-Said he escaped an arm triangle by punching the guy in the ribs
-Said he KOed his opponent by elbows in MT, and only has had 1 fight, yet there is no sanctioning body here or in the US that allows elbows strikes to a novice
-Says he's been training MT for awhile, yet didn't know the basics of clinch work

I think everyone knows a guy like that.
There was "that guy" when I was growing up, and the cranky old Scottish mother of one the guys in our group overheard him telling another tall tale and cut him to pieces. Turns out she had an excellent memory and hated bullshit. She cut him off and asked when he found the time for this new thing, and then listed a dozen crazy things she remembered him talking about.
It was one of those moments I would pay ten grand to have on film.
I was thinking the same thing
He did start two weeks late because he had to fly home for his sons funeral. Thats what my boss told usSounds legit.
