Should be triggering for a lot of the rightwing blogosphere. This is fresh off the press, so give it a few days and it will be all over Stormfront and other alt-right sites. No doubt we will see a lot of comments claiming this is SJWs , liberals, PC culture etc etc....

Just check out the Yahoo comments section. Triggering, outrage , SJWism isn't just something practiced by liberals.

Irony is if the new Mr Clean looked exactly like the old Mr Clean, he would be denounced as Gay , and pandering to the LGBTQ community.

I don't care either way but I find it hilarious that there was a need to change him.

Nothing wrong with this, it's their company they can do what they want.

That said, it's fucking hilarious the lengths companies go to to alienate white men.

Stuff gets changed all the time. I am indifferent. The old one was fine but the company thinks it is time for a change.

Sometimes changes are not right, eg: Chevy going from "Like a Rock" to "Chevy runs Deep". The former was fine , the later sounds silly.

I really don't think their intention was to alienate White men; since I presume White men and women are by far the largest purchases of their product. I really just think they wanted something fresh/new but wanted to still retain the basic iconic image.

Nah, they are just caving into the PC culture whose goal is to alienate white men.

We need to start replacing black characters like Shaft with white actors.

I'm still pissed that they gave the Karate Kid to black people. Now they get Mr. Clean?

<{hmmm}>

Who gives a shit? The guy looks kinda like the original (who was a cartoon, btw). Edit: I guess there was a real version, too?

Although, I always thought the cartoon Mr Clean looked kinda like Yul Brynner (a Siamese king) in The King and I. He looks black in the picture below.

OTOH, I'll be really surprised if there's not outrage from the left (and perhaps BLM) claiming that it's racist to make "the cleaning guy" a black man.

So the white guy comes back next year going by the article.

It's not to alienate white men. It's to appeal to white guilters. Black people don't give a shit about this stuff.
