I am a fan of this guy. And he keeps surprising me how well grounded this guy is.
I translated the best I can, but here's the link:

UOL Esporte - How has your training routine for the fight against Hathaway?
Erick Silva - I'm doing specific training. I started training jiu-jitsu separately. Only jiu after only muay thai. We are training very specific modalities and correcting where I had the most failures. I've been training all but specific. Before I had full a MMA workout, mixed everything together. Now we fixed it and I can do much more then just MMA.
UOL Esporte - You did not fight since October 2012. Are you anxious to return?
Erick Silva - Not that I'm anxious, but I want to come back soon. It's been a long layoff, UFC and I was never more than four months inactive. Never had to stay out of a card due to an injury. With eight months off, I want to come back soon to show the public how I am improving.
UOL Esporte - What to expect from the next match, against Hathaway?
Erick Silva - He is a wrestler and likes to take people down, but also a guy who accepts much striking. I saw some of his fights and he likes striking, Stays up. he has wingspan greater than mine. But I'm not worried, it even encourages me because I like to exchange. Even though I am from the ground game, I like to standup, so I think it favors my game.
UOL Esporte - You very quickly was elevated to the status of biggest Brazilian hope and afuture UFC champion. As it leads, do you think you were overhyped?
Erick Silva - I'm pretty quiet about it. In the gym where I train, we have Rodrigo [Minotauro], Rog
