If you look on the internet, there are many Doomsday Dates in 2017, 2018, 2020, 2021, 2030, 2060, and so on.

I'm rather certain that there is a Doomsday Prophecy for every year from now until the year 5,000,000,000.

Like another user said, this is a lot of confirmation bias.

Exactly. It seems to me that those individuals that want Doomsday for the universe are really just waiting for their own personal Doomsday. In other words, those individuals want to die sooner rather than later.

On the internet, I've seen Doomsday Prophecies for the year 2040, 2048, 2050, 2129, 2200, 2239, 2280, and many more.

I've even seen one for the year 11120. Or is the correct written form 11,120?

However, you should also remember that the years 1843, 1844, 1962, 1994, 1995, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2003, and many others had at least some "hype" to them.
