Spencer’s stores were supposed to put those shirts next to the fur-lined handcuffs. Heads are going to roll.
Here's the deal--we license our brand to a company that specializes in selling to the non-endemic market. They create art, we approve it and then they try to sell it through their distribution channels. If I'm not mistaken, Sprawl, Warrior Wear and Sinister have similar contracts with the same vendor.
I don’t believe this initiative cheapens the Clinch Gear brand. Here in the office we spend 100% of our time serving MMA industry gyms, retailers and core enthusiasts. We are not and never will be a lifestyle brand, but if fans see our tees at Spencer's and want to buy them, great.
As for how quickly we post new products on our site, there is a method to our madness. We often take preorders from our wholesalers, meaning that when new inventory arrives we take care of our accounts straight away.
It is not unusual for our manufacturers to deliver product in multiple shipments, and in some cases the preorders deplete the initial inventory. When that happens, we have to wait for the outstanding balance to arrive before we can add them to our site. This occurred with the first two colors of the Primo II line.
FYI, we are in production on the next two Primo II colors now, and all sizes/colors in the original Primo line will be replenished by the end of August. We'll also have the Hendo UFC 88 Training Camp Tee in by Monday, as well as a new Clinch Gear design called the Hammer Tee.
Hope this answers some of your questions.
