    Looks like it has the chance to be an amazing flick. Bale really got in character here, seems like he lost a bunch of weight for the roll...he looks like sh*t!

    Same here. I've been waiting for this for quite some time now. I hope they at least touch on the trilogy with Gatti, but it's very possible they won't.

    The trilogy between those two deserve it's own movie.

    Great movie.

    has anyone seen the hbo documentary high on crack street the character christian bale plays is in the documentary

    i wonder if christian bale is a method actor and smoked crack in the streets of lowell massachusetts for the role.

    Hopefully, this movie will set the stage for more films about great, but relatively unknown (to the general public) boxers from the Boston area, like Jack Sharkey, Sam Langford, George Dixon, Joe Wolcott, and William Mellody. There’s a lot of great boxing history out there, just waiting to be filmed!

    does anybody remember the american undercover crack episode that followed dicky around while he tried to get high?

    I have been trying to find that documentary for a while now. If anybody has a link, I'd appreciate it. This documentary does feature a very young Mickey Ward.
