This is an article about Anderson Silva in which he talks about several interesting themes.

For instance:

On Chael Sonnen, whom he dueled inside and outside the Octagon for two years. "I think he is a hell of a marketer. I am to see someone selling the UFC like him. "

On Burger King: Silva joked about the fact that, due to being famous, he no longer needs to pay to eat out, especially at restaurants of one of his biggest sponsors. "Now I don't pay anymore for my snacks...specially at Burger King!"

About retiring: When asked if UFC would experience a lack of charismatic athletes (once he retires): "Talking like this is somewhat unfair because I believe that there are many colleagues who also have charisma and this sport allows them the same space. But at the same time, I recognize that, on the two occasions I fought in Brazil, the event was sold out and had record audience on TV and in PPV. That is fact. And although I do not like to appreciate myself, I must acknowledge my value, after all, the TV Globo and Dana are very happy when I fight, right? "

About filming with Steven Seagal: "It was a wonderful invitation and a challenge, because I work in English, and I do not have an English as fluent yet. But it's a very cool experience. I'm preparing with Luiz Mario [Vicente, trainer of actors] and Johnny Ara

What Seagal movie is he in?

Don't know.
he was supposed to film last year (reason he didn't want to fight 'till 2013), but canceled the movie in order to fight Bonnar.

I think he went to Canada in December to film (reason why he was in attendance at GSP & Condit fight).

You'd think JCVD would invite GSP to be in some of his movies. I really hope we get to see him fight some of the planets p4p fighters over the next couple years before he retires. The only reason he hasn't passed Fedor as my GOAT is because he is not as fearless and seems less willing to take risks at some points. I know that he has already established his legacy and status, but I would love him to fight Jon Jones or some of the top top fighters at 205 so he could be the best fighter in history without question

to that i think he does not do it more in consideration of Lil Nog & Machida.
he noted since Machida was the champ that he would never undermine the LHW title as long as those guys had a chance to get it. And I can see why.
I mean, if he goes up and fight against Jones at LHW and win, even if it is not for the belt, what would it say about it? it would diminish the accomplishment of anyone else who wins it afterwards. Because everyone would consider Silva the true LHW champ.

This is the only reason he ever gave for not fighting at LHW.

So IMO he could fight all of those guys,m but either at 185 or at a CW.

I guess if I ever meet him, I'll ask him to have lunch with me at burger king :)

Thanks for sharing the cool interview!
