eduardo rocha is opening a new bjj acadamy in oakland california. eduardo is a 3rd degree black belt under royler gracie. the schedule is 7-9 pm monday through friday and 12 to 2 pm on saturdays. all of this for 125 a month with more classes to come later. i hate doing the sales pitch and this will be the only post i make like this. if you want more info. www.oaklandbjj.com
he did, at a kick boxing place to be left unnamed. then after months of dealing with bs from the owner over money and other things that the owner would basically invent for the sake of drama it was time to go. one of the last straws apparently was when andre ward showed up and walked onto the mats with his shoes on while a class was going on to shadow box in front of a mirror. eduardo asked him to get off the mats while his class was in session and the owner felt that made the kickboxing place look bad. this place we are opening is his own place and as i am helping get it ready i have to say it's going to be a great place. you should come by and check it out.
Having trained with and taught at Ewduardos school..All I can say is this will be an awesome place and Eduardo is a great teacher!
all right i got got done putting the final coat of paint on the walls. next is the mats and we will be open on the first. anyone in the bay area who has the time should come check us out.
