I used to work in a porn store back in 99'. The she-male thing is true. I think almost all of the she-male porn I sold was to guys that bought straight porn also. My theory has to do with the cinematography of it all. The penis is essentially a prop in all of this. It is easier to focus on what is happening to the female, when the prop is more prominent visually speaking.

But what you see on screen is different than what you see in reality, so there will be a disconnect from what you see live/in person and what you see on screen. Same thing with why some people like to watch sports at home, and cannot stand being in a stadium.

There was a really good explanation posted here on sherdog about the tranny/shemale obsession. Basically, the tranny and shemale are often times more feminine than the real thing. Because by design, if they are doing porn they will alter their bodies accordingly.

this does not surprise me at all. i've had more than a few female friends and or lovers that were into gay porn. though in truth, i have a history of involvement with more "edgy" types.
