Weird that he wasn't on the Boston card.

I got a taxi a while ago where the conversation somehow got onto MMA. The driver trained with Seery and said that he was insanely skilled on the ground.
Interested to see how he'll pan out.

really like Seery. Think hes going to get outclassed at the weekend, but really like his style.

Not sure how long his deal was, guess 3 fights so hope he can do enough to get a few more fights with the UFC

    Four fight deal

Normally I'd be heavily favoring Beal as he has looked very impressive but since he looked kind of lacklustre in his last fight and with this being his FLW debut I think Seery might just have the skills to take a decision on the feet here. Seems like a real nice guy as well

I see Beal beating him down all 3 rounds. Seery's got a hell of a chin but I think Beal's pace is far too much for him.

I agree with Beal being the faster fighter of the two but with a poor last fight, a long haul trip with an inexperienced team(for MMA not boxing) and his first cut to 125 for a fight I see it being a bit closer.

Seery has a tough fight on his hands. Too tough I think.

Those of you counting Seery out are insane. I actually picture Seery getting the decision after a scrappy, scrappy fight more so than Beal. Though I won't be surprised if Beal wins either. I'm excited for this fight. Finally somebody that I think will be willing to stand and trade with Seery, just like he likes it.

I am a huge Neil Seery fan. It is a great story how he got his shot in the UFC so late in his career at a time when he thought it would never come and he has proved that he belongs here. He holds down a full time job on top of the MMA which is impressive.

http://severemma.com/2015/01/neil-s...-power-on-his-chin-hes-going-to-get-a-fright/ This is a good interview with him, shows his humour too. He gives poor Redser a hard time here.

I think Beal could be in for a shock if he stands and trades with Seery. It will probably be another Brad Pickett situation where all week the person he is saying they will stand and bang but as soon as Seery lands they are looking for the takedown.

And an outtake from a scrapped interview (due to being out of focus, bad framing and the mirror lol)

This dude got robbed by brad pickett imo, I might be misremembering the fight because I only saw it during the initial broadcast last March, but pickett got raped standing and did absolutely nothing with the TDs.
