Neil Peart dead at 67. RIP

I've been to more Rush concerts than any other band. Truly a great drummer, lyricist, and, from all I've gathered, a great man in general.

Exit... Stage Left Neil Peart. You'll be missed

Was not expecting this. Genuinely bummed. Such a legend.

Sad to hear he passed away. I had no idea they were still touring as recently as 2015. RIP.

Exit the warrior.

A true legend of rock n roll, rip

I suppose now would not be the best time to start a Peart vs Bruford thread.

Amazing tribute.

He was always the odd guy out.

Geddy and Alex were from Toronto. Neil was the farm guy.
Geddy and Alex were in a band, and needed a new drummer. Neil was the new guy.
Geddy and Alex were goofy. Neil was the intellectual guy.
Geddy and Alex composed the music. Neil was the lyrics guy.
Geddy and Alex played the strings. Neil was the percussion guy.
Geddy and Alex were sociable. Neil was the antisocial guy.
Geddy and Alex did the Meet and Greets. Neil was the unavailable guy.
Geddy and Alex never had a family tragedy during their careers. Neil was the unlucky guy.
Geddy and Alex never moved away from Canada. Neil became the American guy.
Geddy and Alex continued to play music. Neil was the retired guy.
Geddy and Alex are alive. And Neil is.....

I'm still stunned. Hard to believe.

RIP Neil Peart.

From the biggest RUSH fan ever.

*Neil rolling his eyes in heaven right now at that tired cliche*

If you can find the second RUSH doc, called Time Stand Still, it chronicles the final tour, and RUSH's final show in their long and amazing career.

Neil Peart has exited stage left
