RIP Neil. Thank you for decades of great music, and redefining the drum solo.

    Rip Peart.

Not unexpected due to the cancer though.

RIP indeed. Was lucky enough see Rush in 2003.

I had no idea he had brain cancer, story I read said that he was diagnosed three years ago but they never announced it.

I had no idea he had brain cancer, never heard a shred of news...

Sad news. 67 isn't that old but he had a good run all the same.

R.I.P Neil. I'm a fan and there isn't much I can say other than he was a drumming god.

Him and Geddy were something else

Damnit...i just heard about this. One of the greatest to ever do it. This is a huge loss. I was fortunate to see them live a while back in Los Angeles. They were older, of course, and Geddy's voice was already strained, but the spirit was there. And Mr. Peart killed it, like always.

    Wow.

I'm no musician but you have to recognize the talent of that man.

    R.I.P.

  20. RIP Neil. One of my favorite musicians ever.

Lost my cousin to brain cancer a few months ago so this feels quite familiar.
