Neighbor had a party last night...

Pretty sure this girls parents weren't home and she had about 10-15 people mixed male and female in between the ages of maybe 18 to early 20.
The neighbor is located directly across the street. Street is not wide at all.

I start hearing screaming and yelling around 12:30am. It took me a while to say something because the commotion wasn't consistent. They would start yelling at each other in front of the house, then chase each other down the block, rinse and repeat.

When I finally told them to please be quite, some stupid bitch from the crowd said, "What, are you kidding me?" I said, "No, you guys have been at this for over an hour and I'd like to go to sleep now". She then says I'm retarded.
I was livid, and it took all the restraint I had not to go out there and start dropping people with non-lethal rounds.

They were noisy for about 15 minutes more and then finally left.

Is calling the cops really the only option here? I know we have a couple resident cops; wouldn't mind hearing from them on the legal ramifications for shooting someone with a non-lethal round who is not in your house.

How would you handle it?
 
hit them with teh jab...plus my game pit would rip their throats out...
 
Should have told them to shut the fuck up or you're going to talk to their parents.
 
How about just putting up with it for a night?
If it's not something they do on the regular just let them enjoy being kids for fuck sake.

Put in some earplugs or put in your earbuds or earphones and listen to some music if you don't wanna hear them.

The crazy thing is, I hardly even knew they existed. They are very quite people and I have only had two interactions with the girls' mom in the year that I've lived here. My room mate who happened to not be home last night doesn't even know who I'm talking about.
So were not friends, but we are cordial with each other.

Why would you shoot somebody with Non lethal rounds for mouthing off? If you're that pissed go over there and confront them like a man. If you're talking about rubber bullets, yeah you would have got in trouble. Like somebody else said just through some head phones on and watch a movie on your laptop. I guess I have thicker skin for this sort of thing because I'm a drummer/guitar player and I use to party a lot when I was that age.

LOL - The legal ramifications being you go to jail and then hopefully prison. You should have your guns taken from you you fucking pussy.

I was outnumbered by about 7 to 1.

Now that I've had time to think about it, I was glad that I didn't go for the shotgun. It wasn't that serious, I agree. But there was some blatant disrespect being done here. It's kind of a weird block, in that your voice will echo if you talk loud enough, they were aware of this.
 
TS needs to get out of the basement and get laid.
 
Well, if there's normally not any issue, I'd try to talk to the daughter alone first and give her ONE chance.

Explain you're cool with parties as long as they don't go too late and don't get too loud.

If she doesn't get the message and/or is an arrogant shit about it, then I wouldn't feel guilty whatsoever calling the cops next time.

There is a part I left out that will help you understand why I was so quick to get pissed. I just had oral surgery on Thursday and got an impacted wisdom tooth removed. I haven't been able to smoke myself to sleep like usual and am obviously more irritable because of it.
