need youi opinion on a Bjj website

First I know this isnt exactly a bjj question but I hope you guys can over look this.

Basically, I have been helping my instructor out with the development of his school in different fashions.

The next couple weeks I am going over his website.

I really could use some opinions on what he has at the moment. good or bad

TS - great start thus far! Here are the two things that jumped out at me the most:

- The menu bar should be prominent and horizontal across the top since you have that cool flash slideshow attracting so much attention. I kinda had to "look" for the menu items.

- The school address / phone number / etc. should be more prominently displayed - it kinda gets lost in the middle of that flash slideshow.

Everything else looks great!

great site! i got to talk a bit with pete when i first met him at miguel's house and recently at the combat do tournament. very good coach. even better website.

i think the best part is that you put a picture of the building on there. you have no idea how much that's going to help people find where you guys are.

I'd follow the advice of moving the menu bar. I am not a fan of the flash picture there, either make it static or do more with it in my opinion.

Ya move the menu bar if you could. It also wasn't very obvious where your address was. I like to link my address to Google Maps. I suggest you do that too. Do you only teach by private instructions? If not, you should post your weekly schedule if applicable. Otherwise it seems ok. A little sparse on content, but good enough.

It could use a bit more color, maybe some more action shots up there on the top flash thing. Also, I'd make it more obvious that it's in Bucktown and how that's convenient to the blue line or wherever...being a Chicagoan, I know that a convenient location close to public transportation is important to me.
