Too much controversy, Bisping might have won 3 rounds, but 3rd round was a clear 10-8. Probably more of a draw tbh. That was a definite home town decision.

Nah, you cant fault Bisping for Herb Dean's shitty mouthpiece officiating. I would have been ok with a draw, but Bisping was definitely working him until his mouthpiece flew out and Herb showed no sense of urgency of getting it back to him.

Less than 10 seconds in the round and they were engaging. Only shit aspect of that was that Bisping got extra time to recover due to celebrations etc

Herb did the right thing. It would've been wrong for him to kill the momentum of that exchange to return the mouthpiece. Refs don't do that unless there's a lull where fighters disengage.

Yes you can. Rule nr. 1 you have to protect yourself at all times. Fighters often spit out their mouth piece to get the fight stopped. You never stop during the fight. and Herb did the right thing you don't stop a fight in the middle of an exchange

I see where youre coming from, but considering how Silva definitely would have wanted the same respect showed towards him to put his mouthpiece in the whole exchange just seemed kind of cheesy to me.

Nah. Anderson won round 3 standard 10-9.

You need to batter the opponant the whole 5 minutes to get 10-8, not just 30sec

Nope a knockdown is not an auto 10 8. Silva lost again deal with it... I don't even like bisping but he deserved that win. 1,2,4 were his

Also u can't have a debatable round win the last 30 seconds and have that be a 10 8

Absolutely no way should he have won that.

Imagine pandering to a crowd filled with cretins dressed as knights waving inflatable swords. Cringe.

Anderson beat the shit out of him but didn't do a damn thing in 1, 2 and 4.

I don't know why his corner wouldn't make him well aware that he was losing. He should have been kicking and kneeling and putting real pressure on him the entire fight. It literally looked like he was standing there thinking about what awesome way he could ko bisping and trying all this fancy shit. Instead of throwing counters every time he trys to matrix and dance.

    Just frustrating to watch.

Terrible decision. Bisping had a great knockdown early in the fight but other than that did no damage.

    Silva literally ruined his face.

If Anderson wasn't dicking around so much he easily would have won. No one to blame but himself.

If Silva gets a 10-8 based on that knee, then Bisping sure as hell does for his knockdown and ground and pound.

meh, regardless i dont think it was enough for Silva to deserve a W, he needed an opening like that to work in any offense what so ever, prior to that Bisping was giving it to him

You can't expect Herb Dean to make that call in the moment based on the hypothetical outcome of a role reversal that is only speculation.

That wasn't a run of the mill knockdown. He wasn't off balance and slipped. He was fucking out at the end of round 3.
