17 years old about 140 looking to get to about 155

For the last 2 months i have a weight gainer shake every day along with 1-2 protein shakes.

I eat about 3 eggs and various chicken and steak meals. I dont take count but i get high a lot and eat a lot of various foods

i have gained about 1 pound through all of this. it seems like no matter waht i do, no matter how much food i put in my body ( i put a lot in on the weekends) i wont gain weight.

I wish i took more count of what i eat and what not (because this is usuful information on trying to get help to gain weight) but all i can say is i have 1 weight gainer shake a day, about 1-2 protein shakes a day, about 3 scrambled eggs a day and a lot more of various foods and what not. Ive been doing this for about 2 months now :icon_neut

So if anyone has any tips on how to put about 15 pounds on of more food leme know

or maybe its just my genetics??

also i dont get a lot of sleep, im a bordreline insomniac, does this matter?

Sleep is very important in a diet. Your body needs time to rest and recooperate. Spread out your meals to where you eat around 6 times a day. Do like Urban says, get a watch, set it to count down from 2 hours, and everytime that thing goes off eat as much healthy foods as posssible. Protein, carbs, and calories are big things to look for. Chicken breasts, milk, eggs, pasta, etc. are very good for you. Do you work out?

What do you mean wish? Just DO the shit.

Everything your parent(s) ever said to you would solve your problems.

1) Keep track of what you eat.

2) Don't eat junk food.

3) Eat your greens and grains.

4) Get plenty of exercise (lift weights, heavy).

5) Fish and nuts are good for you (good fats).

6) Go to bed.

NOW young man.

it could also be because of your age, 17 is still very young and your metabolism is still probably high, when you reach your early 20's lets say about >22 you will see that you can fluxuate your weight better and gain and lose weight easily, for now don't waste your money on weight gainers, just workout and eat right and wait it out until you are older
