need help getting a bjj gi

Hey guys, i've been doing no gi bjj for some time now and im gonna get into bjj with the Gi. I was about to buy a Judo competition Gi thinking it would be the same or close enough but then found out that they have much more slack than bjj gis and it does make a difference. I was wondering if you guys could help me out with any good sites or suggest any good stores that sell them in NY or even just recommend the type of gi since there seem to be many different kinds. Thanks.

P.S. ive been trying to figure out what damn size i would be but the charts i find are either different or height and weight dont match up leaving me uncertain of my size ... im 5'7'' 144lbs... if you can help id appreciate it

Yeah im about the same height and weight as you, and i got a gameness pearl (size A2) from ssf gear, great gi, and great serivce from them (im in the UK by the way).

Defenately recommend them and the gi.
