Need help buying Gi-less attire

I'll start mixing in no-gi training once a week come February. I'd like to hear more about the kneeguard v.s. no kneegarud and short sleeve rash guard v.s. long sleeve rash guard debates.

I'll still be doing twice as much gi training as no-gi. But like the original poster said, I don't have any workout clothes that would stand up to the rigors of jiu jitsu.

Is there a consensus top three in fight shorts and rashguards that most people would agree on? Knowing nothing, I'm willing to be a total conformist on this topic ...

I perfer short sleeve rashguards. Any of the top brands will hold up well to everyday use.

Top 3 shorts in no order;
Nogi
Sprawl
JJGear/Warrior Wear Ultra/HCK

Top 3 rashguards
XFgear
Nogi
SSF :D

I have both the long sleeve and short sleeve XFGear rashguards and I love both of them, but I like rollin in the short sleeve more, it's just personal preference really. I only wear knee pads when we are training stand up or spar from standing otherwise I ditch them.

Yea, I find knee pads pretty restrictive and they always slide down as well.
