Next week i restart my mma training. I need new gear...so i need your advice...

For the Shin guard...i hesitate between the Hayabusa or the Renegade X-Training

For the Groin Protection...Ive got a crush on the the Jaco Guardian :p

For the rashguard....i really dont know wich taken...i love the short sleeve Hayabusa...and the Venum

For the Mouthpiece...probably a Shock Doctor...but wich one!!

For the Short...i like the sprawl...any one try them?

naturally..its for grappling and striking. Im 6foot 1 weight 245 lbs normally i wear 36 for my pants

I wish you have all the information !!! Sorry if my english is bad...i dont wrote often in that language ;)

For the shin guards, I'm assuming you're looking for something suitable for both standup and grappling training?

Really, all the stuff you listed are some of the standards for gear. I don't think you can really go wrong. Various models of Sprawl shorts are used by countless people, there are usually a couple fighters wearing them on any UFC card (along with jaco, hayabusa and tapout). They do have a number of models, some better than others.

Also, you didn't mention gloves. A good pair of 16oz boxing/muay thai sparring gloves when you're doing just standup, a good pair of bag gloves for your bag/pad work, and a good pair of MMA training/sparring gloves for working on the grappling/ground-and-pound.

Where are you from, where are you thinking of getting your gear from (online, local shop if available, etc.)?

Either will work, though the Renegade's will probably offer more protection.

    Good choice

Hayabusa is quality, you should also check out Manto and Rupture.

Numerous people have tried them, and many like them. But check out Warrior, Jaco, and ADX shorts as well.

    Yes, Exactly

I know theyve got one pair with grip on the groin for better submission...but are they really worth it?

Ive got already 12 and 16 oz Rival boxing gloves and one pair of mma glove ( dont remember how much oz )

Im from Quebec..im thinking get my gear online via mma warehouse or renegade mma

The price don't really bother me...i prefer put a few more bucks on my gear and have quality

Check out FightersMarket.ca - Your Canadian source of Jiu Jitsu Gis & Grappling Gear They don't have much as far as striking gear (though they do have Hayabusa and some Bad Boy stuff), but I've heard good things about the company, and the site is in Canadian $ and has a Canadian warehouse they ship from (no import fees). They've got Sprawl, Jaco, Hayabusa, Bad Boy, Koral, Nogi, ADX brand shorts and rash guards. They've got the Jaco Guardian cup system.

I think he's confused as to why you say not to get Jaco or ADX.

I mean ADX look like a power ranger suit and jaco's have awfully screen printed logos

then I would rather get shorts of better quality for less money. for example sprawl
