Has been doing Muay thai approximately five months (+ -). Started recently on bjj but miss really Muay Thai. Do you think it is too little to train muay thai twice a week?
Play football (soccer) once a week as well as I study (and trainer bjj three times a week), so I do not get more time to Muay Thai.

- The problem is that I really should have taken the step to the middle class, but it crashes with beginner class bjj. Is it major crisis for my progress?

Im also little afraid to attend sparring. Have seen several times that several of them go very hard, and also many of them have belts. Easier said than done, but there is no possibility of getting hurt if one sparring with them?

Are about 188 high 77kg- so are not so big, and are younger, most of them

Well if you want to improve you should:
-Dedicate more of your time to martial arts (stop football, etc.)
-Sooner or later (preferably soon) start sparring. Yes the risk is there from injury, as always, but it's something you must do to have progress. Sparring is IMO the most important part of any combat sport.
-Two times a week Muay Thai is not that much. Go for at least 3x Muay Thai and 3x BJJ.

Just my opinions :D

All the best.

agree but will unfortunately not have time for more. Studying engineering that really requires more time than I give it, but we'll see. will comfort myself whit that I are twenty years old :)

I look at all these requests for advise, and you know what... just do what you enjoy.

There's no rush to spar either, just do it when you have time to commit to it long term, sparring occasionally is a pointless nightmare.

to get good at muay thai you have to spar.... If you are afraid to spar thats ok tell them you are a beginner if they dont understand that then you are training with assholes... you could always find a training partner to do some light themed sparring to get you used being hit and hitting back
just my opinion and i agree with the other bout need more mat time... the only to get better is to get that matt time
