Neckcersize- how often?

how often do you guys work out your necks, and what types of rep schemes?
 
well i just started friday, my instructor wants me to do it atleast every other day. it's hard to describe on the net...

he has me do a bridging drill.

-laying on my back, i cross my arms on my chest so they aren't in contact with the ground.
-i put my feet near my butt and bridge up so all that's on the ground is my feet and the back of my head.
-i then roll so i end up facing down, pyramid' with balls of feet and forehead beign the only things in contact with the ground (due to my weak neck i use my shoudlers/forarms to help me a bit on the rotation and pyramid setup)
-then i do a sort of front roll, pushing off with my feet so i end up in the first position, gotta make sure my neck is bridged though, noth resting on my upperback/shoulders

as i mentioned it's hard to describe with words, hopefully someone can come up with a vid or pics to help you
 
I do the techniques in the warm up I was taught for wrestling for my neck 3 times a week. All of this was done straight with no rest and obviously your head cannot touch the ground. Lie doen on your back.

Rotate your head in circles clockwise 30 times
Rotate your head in circles counter-clockwise 30 times
Turn your head to the left then back to center 30 times
Turn your head to the right then back to center 30 timesChin to chest 30 times
Turn on your right side and bend your neck to your left shoulder 30 times
Turn on your left side and bend your neck to your right shoulder 30 times
Turn on your belly and bend your neck back 30 times
Bridging for 1 minute trying to get on your toes and having your forehead touch the mat
Bridging to the left for 45 seconds
Bridging to the right for 45 seconds
