check it out
i am shocked, i don't remember seeing this much content on their site four years ago.
That is cool
I thought they were having some kind of qualifying tournament this weekend in Vegas? So how would they know the Americans that are going?
i think the americans came out some pan ams show in miami, but i might be very wrong. (btw, maybe this thread should have been called "NBC cares about judo, the grappling forum- not so much")
Now that the spots have been qualified, the athletes who will represent the U.S. will be determined in Las Vegas June 13-14 at Olympic Trials. Even those weight classes not qualified will compete at the Thomas & Mack Center in case qualified nations are unable to furnish a representative.
I don't care about the website so much as actually showing the Judo matches. Last Olympics it was pathetic in terms of coverage. They would give you the last minute of a match and then cut to another sport. this probably doesn't help the coverage:
NBCOlympics.com - Judo | Athletes & Team News, Videos, Photos | Medal, Event Recap, Beijing China
That would be awesome to have more tv coverage of Judo tourneys.
