Blizzard instantly cut away from that camera shot.

Hong Kong has nothing to do with $$$. so the POTUS had no problem with Xi Jinping when told the POTUS to keep his mouth shut regarding Hong Kong.

likewise, Geng Shuang (China's minister of foreign affairs) had no issue negotiating with Adam Silver and the NBA regarding monetary terms for the right for China to broadcast its games - but they've forbidden Americans (who seek to do business with the Chinese) from being too feisty regarding the 1st amendment when it comes to China.

Xi is only demanding that the NBA comply. the POTUS did, afterall.
