Carlos Condit's nickname is the Natural Born Killer.

Hector Lombard calls himself "Showeather." That means nothing.

As it turns out, Hector Lombard means nothing. Coincidence?

People are still salty about him piecing up nick "excuses" Diaz?

Not sure. But sucks that he hasn't lived up to that name in years... All that time off and didn't practice takedown defense.

I don't know about Melvin or Rich Franklin, but I doubt that is how Chuck got Iceman. I always figured it was either this guy....

7. Chuck Liddell on how he got the nickname “The Iceman” : “My pulse rate rarely goes up or down, no matter how tens or relaxed the situation. In fact, that’s how I got my nickname: the Iceman. Hackleman gave it to me around my third kickboxing match. We were hanging out in the locker room before the fight, and he noticed that I wasn’t breaking a sweat or shaking out my arms to release some of the jitters and didn’t have any other nervous tics. He told me he had been in countless pro fights and was anxious before every one of them. Meanwhile, I looked as if I were going for a stroll in the park. He thought I had ice in my veins”.

Carlos Condit won 30 fights and finished 28 of them. That's a 93% finish rate in his wins. I can't think of any fighter with his number of fights with a finish rate better than that. He won two decisions in a fifteen year career. These guys calling him the Natural Born Runner are the dumbest fuckers on Sherdog.

Nick Diaz finished 21 fights in 26 wins. That's about 81% finish rate in his wins. That's damn impressive too. They also both had plenty of submissions and plenty of KO/TKOs.
