Nathan Corbett's Elbows

The GOAT of elbows. He travels around doing seminars and teaching people his elbow system and it’s well worth the price of admission

I grew up watching him I attended one of his seminars and also got to train with him and another one that he just happened to be there as well he's living down in Orange County coaching at a gym down there now and also running privates great to have someone of his skill level here in the states

The overarm tie is a great medium for setting up elbows, since it's one of the easiest 'first contact' grips you can get when putting hands on the opponent; stifles their attacks with that arm while clearing a path for you to roll your own elbow over it at the same time.

You can push the guy to put him on the back foot out of position for throwing strikes of his own; and if he tries to push back to stay balanced, you can just hit the slide by with the same grip in return.

A slight modification you see often from good clinchers in Thailand is to weave your arm inside the elbow from outside, so you can manipulate their balance with that arm, pull it out to land knees, and your arm is on top so you can elbow them while they can't elbow you on that side

Most definitely, whenever you look at guys who live and die by the elbow, it's a wrinkle that pops up all the time.
