Look at his "line up" against conors. Nate was coming into this fight confident and no one really realized. What makes the victory more sweet as a diaz fan was watching conor throw his hardest punches with no set up under the belief he would KO nate with just power and aggression alone. He took nate for a low level fighter he could just dust up in 1 or 2 rounds. Him beating aldo really did get into his own head. Against aldo and chad conor was composed and calculated, but against nate he was so full of himself and got whooped on for it.

Nates about to get some big fights for this and he deserves it. his resume is full of names weather he won or lost and its weird any high level fighter would take him lightly

It was the most accurate prediction ever when you look back at it.

"You beat three midgets and you all pumped up"

"Ive been fighting grown ups my whole life"

"Who do you train with?"

"Yeah my last fight was a decision....vs a normal size human being"

Have to agree with that, he started the fight quite calculated but then quickly went into haymaker mode throwing wild hooks, when he has good straights. He believed in his power too much thinking he would finish Diaz, but at least he admitted that is was the wrong way of fighting. Diaz should get Dos Anjos next, but cannot see him winning that at all

A lot of this is still nonsense, Diaz has fought featherweight midgets like Guida and lost lol Conor fought normal sized guys like Poirier, Holloway and Aldo. Who do you train with actually makes sense lol

i see alverez, pettis, maybe even diego sanchez vs nate as big fights. The ufc could always give tony vs khabib the title shot and make some fun fights

Wish Nate would've said, "Precision beats power and timing beats speed."

Connor really thought a 170lbs Nate Diaz was going to lay down in front of him? Nate passed his guard like a hot knife through butter and reminded him of his Achilles heel: the ground game.

go away

Nate bless

The thing that Nate said in the lead up that I find most interesting was the part about how Conor doesn't believe in his own predictions, that his opponents are the ones who bought into them. Nate was the only one going into a fight with McG with the intention of winning. Mendes was content to just be in there fighting for that big paycheck. Aldo was fighting to not lose. His other opponents weren't quite at that elite level. Nate brought the fight, like he always does, and Conor had to face a new challenge in that.

i can agree with almost all of this. i think aldo tryed to do to conor what conor tryed to do to nate, and thats treat him like a scrub and try to dust him in 1 or 2. didnt work for ether of them

Conor was right.

Also, about "who do you train with?"

Nate also made reference in a FOX interview prior to the fight that he had nearly three times the amount of fights in the UFC as Conor did going into that fight. Experience against bigger fighters.
