Nate vs Khabib is the best fight the UFC can make while Conor is out

This is definitely a bigger fight than Ferguson

They can sell this fight by Nate's name with the casuals, he is the guy who beat Conor. Then if Nate wins they set up the trilogy fight with Conor which will be huge....If Khabib wins they get to promote Khabib as a huge threat to Conor as the guy who beat Nate Diaz, especially if he does it impressively

Really hope Nate takes this fight I would love to watch it

I am dying to see this fight.

I don't care what weight, or if it's for a double-reverse interim belt

Would be an absolute boring wrestle-fuck.

I think Tony or Aldo/Khabib would be more interesting.

It would be a bigger fight but Nate would get destroyed tbh.

    You can't afford it
You're not wrong that it's an easier sell with Nate attached to it, but I'd rather see them really push the Khabib/Ferguson fight and see if they can't make them names.

Also, while I would definitely watch Khabib versus Nate, if Nate is going to fight one of them, I think Nate/Ferguson is a hell of a match up. Aldo/Khabib would be amazing as well.

Yeah fuck Tony's 9 fight winning streak.. the fact that he's 12-1 in the UFC, defeating guys like RDA and Barboza..

Sure, Diaz is coming off a loss and we already seen him and Conor fight twice recently, but yea, that's the way to go...

    urghhh

Nate isn't interested in fighting anyone that isn't Conor tho. They gonna have to give him a big guaranteed paycheck to make this happen, not sure if hte PPV sale would warrant it

This would be awful match making. Nate has nothing to offer Khabib.

I think Nate has great transitions, which is where he usually catches people, but Khabib probably has the best top control in the game, and IMO, would be too much for Nate.

    Agreed.

Either win grows a Conor fight

Khabib needs a big name &

Nate needs hype for the trilogy.

Tony v Nate is fireworks too

You really think Khabib can hold Nate down for 5 whole rounds? He is going to have to strike at some point and if he is on the ground Nate is dangerous too

The fact this would be 5 rounds would be a big factor if I think, Khabib can't avoid the hands for 5 whole rounds

Everyone needs Nate to make a name for themselves. Nate should just chill and wait til they need him for the trilogy he deserves
