Yep. Now that he's had a taste of that kind of money I think he figures it's all or nothing, and he has enough to retire on so he probably sees it as having nothing to lose for demanding more.

He got 2 lucky pay days with Conor, getting 2 Million or so would be awesome for him (fighting anyone else)

Oh it's a lot of money, particularly for us, but it seems like he doesn't care.

I also disagree that those paydays were lucky. He put a lot of work into his career, has quite a fan following, and he called Conor out and took full advantage of an opportunity.
 
Which sucks, because grinding is when they are the most fun.
True that. Fighters are usually the most brutal climbing the ladder to the top. Trying to win in fashion. Once they are at the top they're usually fighting not to lose. (Unless you're Woodley. He tried to kill WB who was trying to out point his way to a title.)

I'm not saying it's a bad/stupid strategy. I'm just pointing it out.
 
Love Nate but they should stick to rankings and give more deserving fighters a chance.
